Church kneelers at
St Marys
Embsay with Eastby, North Yorkshire
The church of St Marys commenced building in 1852 and was consecrated in May 1853. The Victorian church was primarily built for the cotton mill workers.
Stained glass windows have been added to the building in 1870 and 1924. A furhter four windows wre created from broken glass late in the 19th century.
